I always go with my instincts when I paint and I like to follow my own rules. With time, I have found that his works best for me and getting to my solutions. In the pass when I tried to follow certain rules, I became frustrated and the end results where “NEVER” pleasing to me leading me to paint over the previous image and allow subtle traces from the previous image to remain. The less rules I followed, the more satisfied I became and the more pleasure I got from painting. “I paint for myself, my own pleasure, my own satisfaction”
